However, they can remain living at home without being put in a position of isolation or lonliness. Companion care can provide emotional and social support for older adults.

Companion care involves a caregiver providing conversation, intellectual stimulation, and, often, help with daily activities or light housekeeping. This gives our clients an opportunity to build relationships and a renewed sense of purpose.

With the transition from one level of care to another comes the risk of falls, mismanaging medications, and failing to meet dietary needs. Our care team can create a plan unique for you or your loved one to ensure a successful transition. We know the right questions to ask your healthcare team to ensure we provide the assistance you need. Post Surgery & Hospital Discharge often require the following discharge orders:

• Transportation to your home and your appointments
• Prescription pickup, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation
• Communication with healthcare providers and loved ones

Dementia care requires a specially trained memory care team that knows how to address issues associated with various forms of dementia and can develop a unique care plan that can be altered as the condition progresses. Our care team will be there for your loved one, providing support that can help to preserve executive function, handle difficult symptoms, form companion-like bonds, and more.

We understand that getting from point A to point B can be difficult for the elderly, disabled youth/adults, new parents or even after a procedure, but we don’t think that should be a reason to stay in, or avoid running errands. Timeless Treasures can provide transportation services, accompanied by a fully screened and trained caregiver, to safely get you to and from:

• Doctor or therapy appointments, including disability assistance throughout the trip
• Hospital or outpatient facility
• Prescription pick-up, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Visits with friends, relatives, social and religious functions or entertainment events

When it comes to your health, self-care is highly important. Your child or adult parent needs you and we understand that at times, caring for a loved one can be overwhelming which is why we offer Respite Care services. Parent may not be the easiest of tasks to deal with on a daily basis however, it surely is very rewarding! We understand the stress and difficulties you may encounter as the day is filled with many changes and tasks increase while caring for a special needs child. Although, our care team are not nurses, we are available to offer a helping hand with your child whether it be errands, chores, meal prep or simply respite services so that you may take a day to yourself to unwind and recharge during your time of need. We are here to transport your loved one to doctor's appointments, therapy appointments or a simple walk to get some fresh air.
